FIFA World Football Museum

More than 1 000 exhibits and around 500 videos cover the entire spectrum of international football and document its ability to bring people together. Mill Museum Mühlerama

The museum operates the more than one hundred year old mill Tiefenbrunnen. The museum presents the craft of milling and making bread, its (cultural) history and topics of sustainability. In addition, special exhibitions are held regularly.

Forum Schlossplatz

The Forum discusses and exhibits contemporary themes of arts, society and culture. The castle was actually the first seat of the government of the Napoleonic Republic Helvetia (1798-1803) and as such the first ‘Bundeshaus’ of modern Switzerland.

City Museum Aarau

The museum (Stadtmuseum) in the medieval tower (1236) presents the rich cultural, political and economic history of the city of Aarau. The collection contains objects covering mainly the medieval and early modern periods and a collection of one hundred year press photography. With the collection of several thousand tin figures, the museum also shows typical Aarau craftsmanship.  

Naturama

The museum shows the history, present and future habitat of the Canton Aargau and watercolour paintings by Gottfried Keller (1873-1945).  

City Museum Aarburg

The museum (Heimatmuseum) in the baroque building from around 1750 describes the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries habitat of the (wealthier) citizens and their life, housing, way of living and local industry.
