The museum of the castle (Schloss Museum) with its medieval keep and turret is situated on the shores of the Lake of Thun. Through the various historical rooms one gets an impression of the lifestyle of local rulers from the 17th and 19th centuries.
The summer hall, the neogothic dining hall, the armory, the oriental smoking salon, the chapel, and its medieval frescos are open to the public. The park in English style, offers a breathtaking view of the Bernese Alps.
