The exhibition is dedicated to Marguerite Burnat-Provins (1872-1952. Born in Arras (France) and educated in Paris, she lived in Vevey and La Tour-de-Peilz (Canton Vaud) between 1896 and 1907. She worked with great skill in a wide range of artistic fields, from drawing and painting to writing and the decorative arts. Her life and work are characterised by her many facets as an artist, journalist, teacher, activist, businesswoman, mistress and gifted speaker. This exhibition shows her artistic achievements, her art and the history of her life.
