The exhibition shows the original illustrations from five children’s books by Alois Carigiet (1902-1985). But the museum also has something else to say. This year the museum received the Gartmann-Köppel legacy, including twelve original paintings, many lithographs, pencil sketches, posters, a total of 62 objects by Alois Carigiet. The objects cover his creative period since 1948. With the children’s books, Carigiet succeeded in capturing the lives of the former mountain dwellers in a striking way.
