Discover.swiss consists of two legal organizations, an Association and a Cooperation (Genossenschaft).

The purpose of the Association (Verein) is to promote cooperation between the various providers of tourist services with and through the use of modern technologies.

In particular, it promotes the digital development and transfer of and between tourism service providers. The Association is also involved in the establishment and operation of a centre of competence for the ongoing digital development.

The aim of the Cooperation is to provide and operate a tourism platform in a politically and religiously neutral manner.

It is also responsible for the security and protection of data in relation to privacy protection.
