The museum (Zentrum Paul Klee) shows works by Paul Klee (1879–1940), with permanent and temporary exhibitions. The Centre’s art repository contains over 4,000 works.

His works can be assigned to various movements: expressionism, constructivism, cubism, primitivism, and surrealism.
