The permanent collection comprises nearly 650 works by Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painters, as well as 20th-century artists from Vaud.
In 1998, the collection was enriched with works by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo, Lorenzo Tiepolo, Henri Fantin-Latour, Edouard Vuillard, Edgar Degas, Georges Braque, and Suzanne Valadon.
