Burgdorf Castle

Schloss Burgdorf is the biggest castle of the zahringian  dynastie and was built in the twelfth century. The romanesque room of the knights, the chapel and the tapestries (14th century) are of particular relevance. The museum presents the culture and history of the city and its region. The museum also houses the gold museum (Helvetische Goldmuseum), with the history of golf digging in Switzerland in the Celtic era and in Sessa in Malcantone.
