The exhibition “Niklaus von Flüe – Mediator between worlds” (Niklaus von Flüe – Vermittler zwischen den Welten) paints a multifaceted portrait of the mystic, politician and national saint Niklaus von Flüe (1417-1487) from the 15th century.
Based on historical facts, the exhibition follows in the footsteps of Niklaus von Flüe, alias Bruder Klaus, with unique medieval artefacts, extensive documentation, and a contemporary interpretation of his significance. Moreover, his wife Dorothea Wyss (1430-1495) is also featured.
In addition, the museum organises temporary exhibitions. The museum is located in a building (1784) with a French garden.
