The aim of the Association for Iron and Mining (Verein Eisen und Bergwerke) is to highlight the history of iron ore mining in the Upper Fricktal in relation to geology and landscape and in particular to highlight the importance of iron ore mining for Switzerland and its economic significance for the region.
