The exhibition (Ruines et pixels. Photographie et céramique contemporaines) brings together the works of twelve Swiss artists in the field of ceramics and photography. The exhibition aims to demonstrate their similarities and differences between the materiality of ceramics and the immateriality of photography. The difference between clay and pixels. Ceramics are thousands of years old, photography is relatively new (nineteenth century). What are the motives, motivation and inspiration of the artists ? In this interesting and original perspective, the cultural centre juxtaposes these two art forms.
