The permanent collection consists of nearly 650 works by Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painters and 20th-century artists from Vaud.

In 1998, the collection was enriched with works by Giandomenico, Lorenzo Tiepolo, Henri Fantin-Latour, Edouard Vuillard, Edgar Degas, Georges Braque and Suzanne Valadon.
