At the end of September 1936 the Kosciuszko association was founded, which now has 550 members in Switzerland.Poland and the United States. Swiss, Americans and Poles want to cultivate the traditional friendship between the countries.
The association manages the Kosciuszko Museum in Solothurn and the Kosciuszko complex in Zuchwil with a monument and a Polish chapel. The Kosciuszko association organizes concerts, lectures and historical events.
The association also gives presentations about historical or contemporary Poland or about Tadeusz Kosciuszko (1746-1817).
