Raetian Museum

The collection contains archaeological, cultural-historical and folkloristic objects of the Grisons canton from Prehistory to the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and Baroque periods and the 19th and 20th Century. The collection houses around 100 000 objects. Beside the historical, arts and crafts and numismatic collection, other, smaller divisions belong to the total stock: The Egyptian, ethnographic and the collection of Antiquities originate from the commencements of the museum and are no longer enlarged. Over two floors metal objects, furniture, paintings, vehicles are on show. Textiles (also from Coptic origin), sculptures and historical paintings are stored separately from the rest.
