Thun Castle

Thun Castle (Schloss Thun) was built by Berchtold V, Duke of Zähringen (1160 – 1218)  in 1200. The history of the region and current topics are shown on the five floors and in the special exhibition room.

The large panorama of Thun was painted between 1809 and 1814 by Marquard Wocher (1760-1830). Atelier d’Art Contemporain R. Coquibus

Romain Coquibus is a painter, engraver and sculptor. At the beginning of 2017, he set up his studio at the Château de Vaumarcus (canton of Vaud) on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel. This is the beginning of his international career. His works are presented in national and international galleries, museums and art fairs.
