Kunsthaus Zurich

The Kunsthaus boasts a collection of paintings from the golden age of Dutch painting, the Flemish and Italian baroque and the Venetian Settecento. Altar painting was in full flower in Switzerland and southern Germany and the Kunsthaus also has works by the four leading masters from Bern and Zurich. The Kunsthaus also exhibits an important group of French paintings that ranges from Géricault to Manet through to the Impressionists and the Nabis and a splendid collection of modern art.  The Collection of Prints and Drawings consists of some 80,000 works ranging from the fifteenth century to the present day.
