Jurapark Aargau

The Jurapark Aargau is also called the green treasure chamber (die grüne Schatzkammer).

The park is characterized by a great diversity of history, culture, flora, fauna and landscapes. The park consists of 27 municipalities of canton Aargau and one municipality of canton Solothurn and is located between Brugg, Laufenburg, Rheinfelden and Aarau.

The park offers a hilly landscape, intersected by streams and rivers, ruins and a great variety of birds, many hiking trails and minerals from the Jura era.

The Fricktal, the Schenkenbergertal and its vineyards, the pine forests, the native orchid species and many other plants and fossils revive another era.
